About Us

RevoBloc: Building Africa's Future

We transform Africa's plastic waste crisis into sustainable construction materials. RevoBloc is more than a product — it's a movement towards environmental restoration and economic opportunity.

Our Mission

To divert millions of tonnes of both recyclable and non-recyclable plastic waste from Africa's environment by creating innovative, sustainable construction materials — reducing carbon emissions and water consumption while generating economic opportunities for local communities.

Our Vision

A continent where plastic waste becomes wealth, where every block built protects the environment, and where African innovation leads the global shift towards sustainable development and circular economy principles.

Why RevoBloc?

Environmental Impact

Each RevoBloc diverts 6.35kg of both recyclable and non-recyclable plastic waste from landfills and oceans, saves 32kg of CO₂ compared to traditional concrete, and uses zero water in production — saving 150–250 litres/m² vs concrete cinder blocks and 300–400 litres/m² vs clay bricks (wall area only, excl. foundation & plastering). Critical in water-scarce regions.

Solar-Powered Manufacturing

Manufactured using solar-powered extrusion — eliminating carbon-intensive cement production entirely while creating local jobs across waste collection, manufacturing, and construction sectors.

Community-Centered

We partner with waste suppliers and licensees across Africa, creating economic opportunities while engaging communities in the solution to plastic pollution.

Scalable Innovation

Built from the ground up for Africa's infrastructure needs, RevoBloc scales sustainably while addressing the continent's construction demands and environmental crises simultaneously.

The Problem We Solve

19M
Tonnes of plastic waste generated annually in Africa
90%
Of Africa's plastic waste is mismanaged or uncontrolled
17M
Tonnes enter oceans and waterways annually

Traditional cement-based construction consumes enormous amounts of water and energy while producing 8% of global CO₂ emissions. In water-scarce regions like the Sahel and Kalahari, conventional building practices are environmentally unsustainable. RevoBloc eliminates these problems entirely.

Our Approach

1

Collect

Partner with waste suppliers across Africa to systematically collect both recyclable and non-recyclable plastic waste — including landfill and ocean-retrieved plastics.

2

Transform

Convert plastic waste into durable, high-performance construction blocks using proprietary technology.

3

Empower

Engage communities as waste suppliers and licensees, creating sustainable economic opportunities.

4

Build

Enable construction projects that reduce environmental impact while meeting Africa's infrastructure needs.

Academic Partners

Universities and research institutions are invited to co-develop, test, and validate RevoBloc's sustainable construction technology — advancing African-led innovation.

Industrial Partners

Manufacturers, construction companies, and logistics partners can integrate into the RevoBloc supply chain — from waste collection to block distribution.

Government & Policy

We partner with governments and development agencies to align with national housing and circular economy mandates across the African continent.

Women & Youth

We actively empower women and youth as waste collectors, licensees, and community entrepreneurs — driving inclusive economic growth.

Inclusive by Design

RevoBloc's model is built so that women and youth are not bystanders — they are co-owners of the solution. From collecting plastic waste to becoming licensed block manufacturers, RevoBloc creates pathways for the next generation of African green entrepreneurs. We actively seek partnerships with NGOs, development finance institutions, and government programmes that champion gender equity and youth employment.
